On June 1st the Mets finished off a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies. Their record stood at 30-27, three weeks later they are 34-41, 4-14 since.

Since the sweep of Philly, they have lost 10 games in the standings to them, something even the 2007 Mets didn’t do.

They are now closer to last place (6 games up) than a playoff spot (8 games back).
